This is a very nice little fingernail & toenail clipper set, with a bonus glass file. There are no sharp or pointed edges so there should not be any issues getting through TSA or other airline security checkpoints. The clippers are strong and can cut through thicker nails without bending the nails. The clippers are precise enough for edges and for very small, very thin, very brittle nails like mine. The toenail clipper has a plastic sleeve underneath that I think may be to help catch trimmings as otherwise I cannot determine the purpose of it.The glass file works better than one might think. I still prefer cardboard or metal files but for travel, size, and reusability purposes, the glass one is fine. The case is well-made with a pocket for each tool and has a secure magnetic closure. It is unlikely the tools would ever come loose in the case, though make sure you note how they fit into the case. The light brown color stands out in my black lined purses, so that is a plus when I need a file. The full case is a bit heavy so just keep that in mind. Overall, I am very pleased with this item and would recommend it.

I had never actually used a glass file until this one, but I like it a lot and feel that it gives a smoother file than the emery ones I’m used to using.At $17.99 at the time of this review, it’s a little on the expensive side, but all three items are durable and work well.

Wow! These are some really nice, high quality nail tools! The clippers are strong and sturdy so I'm not afraid of them breaking anytime soon, and the glass file has a neat texture that files my nails quickly without being too rough. The clippers also have little areas on them to file your nails as well, and the larger clippers have a bit of plastic around it that I assume might be for attaching it to a keyring or something. I ended up taking mine off and I use the nice included case that fits great in my purse!My only complaint would be the price as it currently a bit high compared to simular name brand sets. It's not terribly high, but I think I'd pay a bit less than the current price if I were getting them as a gift.

I'll be honest - I already have a good set of nail clippers and ordered this mostly for the glass nail file. I'm happy to say that the whole set is quite good. The toenail clipper is amazing! It clips really easily and has a hard plastic casing that actually catches most of the clippings so you can just empty it out and not search for stray clippings. The regular nail clipper is good, not as great as the toenail one, but still good. The set includes a black satin bag for storage too.
